Random Corners, Everyday Shadows

The opening reception for my solo show was a blast!....a refined and civilized one to be sure. Thanks to everyone who came out to see my work and special thanks to gallery director Elizabeth Neal who selected and arranged it so beautifully. Seeing my paintings hung so thoughtfully on the fresh white walls made them seem new to me. I don't display my finished  paintings at home. When they're finally deemed "finished" I put them away because I'm already into the new one (or four) in progress. I get them out again for various art shows and festivals but they are all hanging closely together in my display and I think it can be overwhelming.
The show, called "Random Corners, Everyday Shadows", can be seen in a quiet, dignified manner at the Eva G. Farris Gallery in the library building at Thomas More College through August 19. Befloware some pictures from the show. Many thanks to Sean Wood for the pictures! Please visit! cw3.
