About the Artist:

Clinton Wood III, a lifelong artist and resident of Cincinnati, Ohio was coached in painting as a boy by his
father, an enthusiastic amateur artist, and eventually graduated from Edgecliff  College in 1980 with a B.A.
in art and literature. He works primarily in oil and his subjects are the city and landscape surrounding his
home, which he shares with his wife, artist Colleen McAndrews Wood, and two children.

Artist’s Statement:

I am struck by the ordinary geometry of the built environment, whether dramatic or repetitive,
and with shadow light and color I paint to reveal the exceptional in the everyday.
